Sophia Wang, previously known as Sophia Mina is a pop singer, songwriter, and spoken word artist from London. Having a Chinese mother, she spent a lot of her time growing up in Far East Asia, hence her "C-Pop" and "K-Pop" influences.
Her first single "Where's Love", reached over 89k listens in a month, which landed her exposure in the UK dance and underground scene. It also peaked at number 10 in the "Music Week Chart" alongside her second single "Turn It Up".
She debuted her third single "Run To" from her second EP "Fly" at Tape in Mayfair. In 2019 she released her fourth single "Ain't Got Time", which she launched at The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm, whilst rebirthing a few singles from her first EP "Venom". She performed these live on Riverside Radio, Talk Radio, and Gaby Roslin's BBC Sunday show to name a few, and headlined her own show at Zebranos in Greek Street.
In 2020, Sophia became the face of The Roundhouse's charity campaign post-Covid and headed back into the commercial, film, and theatre world, alongside being a mental health advocate.
