Sophie Kilburn is a Derbyshire born singer, songwriter who merges melancholic pop with fiery indie-rock. Her bold sonic fusion of old-school rocker & modern pop warrior is inspired by genre shifting heroes like HAIM, Phoebe Bridgers and Sam Fender with a heavy emphasis on lyrics & storytelling.
Sophie has released her third EP Don’t Make Me Angry, produced by award winning Oli Deakin (CMAT, Liz Lawrence, Elanor Moss). The project has gained massive support from BBC 6 Music Steve Lamacq and the Head of the 6Music team, Cam Pia for its ‘meaningful songwriting and catchy melody’, as well as landing 2x Radio X’s ‘Hot One’, alongside airplay from Sirius XM , charting in Amazing Radio UK and Student Radio Networks national playlist alongside Alfie Templeman, Divorce and Holly Humberstone.
