Sophie-Maude is a 22-year-old Tauranga-born artist whose music blends emotional honesty with contemporary pop and R&B. Drawing from her experiences living with Autism, ADHD, OCD, and Tourette’s syndrome, she uses songwriting as a form of self-expression.
In 2022, her single “Take Me Away” reached No.1 on the NZ Hot 40 Singles Chart, establishing her as one of New Zealand’s most promising young artists. With S-M’s song “Vertigo” making it onto the NZ On Air Spotify playlist and having other music videos appearing on MTV Australia, she is one to be on the look out for
S-M in the last few months has raised over $300,000 NZD for neurodivergent charities and is an advocate for invisible disabilities internationally.
