Formed in 2017, Sorry, Peach is a five-piece “sad-girl” pop band that weaves together the emotional turbulence of coming of age with the intimacy of bedroom pop and the energy of indie rock. What began as an all-girl college project took on new life in 2019 when multi-instrumentalist and producer Jonathan Roberson joined the group, forming a creative partnership with lead vocalist and songwriter Tyerra Clayborne. The two quickly became the band’s driving force, shaping a sound that’s both raw and atmospheric, deeply personal yet universally resonant.
Joined by bandmates Kira Saini, Daylee Pruitt, and Dee Mason, the band’s lush instrumentation and dynamic arrangements add depth and dimension to Sorry, Peach’s evolving sonic identity. Each member brings their own musical perspective, creating a collective voice that feels honest, immersive, and unafraid to experiment.
Known for their candid lyrics, haunting melodies, and genre-blending tendencies, Sorry, Peach crafts songs that feel like the pages of a diary—confessional, poetic, and cathartic. Their music pulls from a range of influences, including Phoebe Bridgers, NIKI, Ruston Kelly, and Hippo Campus, resulting in a sound that balances vulnerability with boldness, and softness with emotional weight.
From heartbreak anthems to dreamy ballads, Sorry, Peach captures the beauty and ache of growing up—offering comfort, connection, and just the right amount of melancholy.
