Soul Rash is a modern rock band born out of necessity in 2020 during the height of Covid. We were screaming for a creative outlet, so we wrote, wrote some more, and found a groove. Everyone hails originally from the east coast, but most of us now live in Colorado minus Billy our singer. All of us are inspired by music played by musicians, and our influences show through. We want our music to remind people of a time when music was important, so important you would sleep outside a venue for tickets, or count down the days until an album was released. Music played by musicians, meant for clubs and outside venues, seeping of modern and classic rock grooves, and sometimes darker, edgier rock that might just send a chill up your spine. Soul Rash is made up a musical veterans who have been playing and recording music their entire lives, and the band’s name is an acknowledgement that working day jobs to make ends meet vs playing music can create blisters on the soul that can’t be scratched. It is also a gentle poke at current state of the music industry, which is in dire need of revolution. We hope you enjoy our music as much as we enjoyed creating it.
