Souls Worn Thin is a trio of working class punks making songs simmered in the grungy footprints of the Puget Sound. SWT deliver an almost tangibly Pacific Northwest feel that vacillates between aggressive and cheeky.
With their debut album Kill Your TV, SWT offers a scathing rebuke of manufactured division permeating society with the same ferocity that they rebuke craft beer. With the unwillingness to comply or be reduced to a pawn in someone else's game, the band shows its independence by loosely hanging on to anything resembling a specific genre.
With the release of their second album, Treason, the fellas explore drug abuse, homelessness, interpersonal relationships, and the realization that people will let you down, even your parents. Couple this with the mocking of big box stores, and you're in for a blistering 33:01 long thrill ride.
