SOULSPLITTER had quite an impact on the German Prog landscape when they released their debut effort SALUTOGENESIS in 2019.
Two years later SOULSPLITTER are finally back with their new record CONNECTION!

CONNECTION builds upon the principles of a total work of art: All seven songs are part of an overarching arc of suspense, music and lyrics describe the stages of an ongoing process.
This concept is embedded in complex compositions which are unprecedented in their versatility. Like only few other bands SOULSPLITTER manage to maneuver effortlessly through varying musical and emotional terrain. Sophisticated modern Metal meets epic classical harmonies, driving grooves entangle with catchy hooks, mighty growls alternate with lyrical singing, heavy guitars and intricate rhythms merge with gorgeous string arrangement and grand piano in prominent position – and thus SOULSPLITTER create their signature sound in the melting pot of musical extremes.

Thematically, CONNECTION deals with the psychological process of recognizing and reintegrating repressed parts of ones personality.
It is a daunting task to look for answers within, to face past traumas, challenge internalized beliefs and move past ones fears and limitations.
