Before Midnight Reservations, Michael David Aho released several records under the name ((sounder)) with a varying group of amazing musicians.. among them, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Grandaddy and friends from American Analog Set.

Sounder's second studio album, Good Things Come and Go Like Bad Things, hit stores two years later, this was followed up with several singles and the beloved EP ‘If We Don’t Get Better’.
