Sour-C

Sour-C is one facet of Diego Filomeno—a not-so-young but authentically fresh singer-songwriter and producer.

He began writing music at 15 but it wasn’t until his late 30s that he finally started recording and allocating quite a number of song ideas into different music projects (or “sound boxes"). Sour-C is one of them, and probably the one that covers the widest range of genres and styles, fueled by songs originally crafted for campaigns for brands like NBA, Gaules, CCXP and CBF, all produced at King Crab Studio and/or at home, in São Paulo, Brazil.

The project is placed between the more electronic-driven sounds of his project <a href="spotify:artist:1Gu8lEL8PVdJB18CDfwDlR" data-name="Kimera &amp; the King Crabs">Kimera &amp; the King Crabs</a> (which is currently being rebranded) and the organic, layered, and uplifting vibe of <a href="spotify:artist:25wTO3uSwCRtV6qgPLQwBt" data-name="LION BEE">LION BEE</a> (indie folk project).

Sour-C also navigates these 2 extremes while immerses listeners in a melancholic, cinematic atmosphere . The music blends alternative/indie rock, folk, soul and pop, with ambient and electronic textures, crafting dense, experimental soundscapes. As always, friends are often invited to join in and add a twist of their own unique energy.
