Sour Patch Boys is a Retrowave duo formed by Aaron Aguayo and Quay Schaus. Meeting at Berklee College of Music, they spent time tinkering with electronic music production and modular synthesis, taking their name from the cables that litter their workstations. Attracted to elements from Film Noir scores, video game sounds, and analog synth buzz, SPB’s music blends Retrowave with dark, rich atmospheres, lending itself to neon-flavored narratives.
