Sourmilk

Sourmilk is an rising alternative rock/indie pop band hailing from Bali, Indonesia. The band was formed in 2022, consisting of Jessica on vocals and guitar, Faiz on guitar, Yudi Septyan on bass, and Noriz Kiki on drums. Despite being a relatively new band, Sourmilk has already made waves in the local music scene, thanks to their raw, sometimes playful sound that borrows from the angst of '90s alternative rock.

One of the defining features of Sourmilk's music is the beautiful, lush atmospheres that they create, coupled with personal lyricism that speaks to their audience. This unique combination has made the band stand out as a fresh and exciting addition to the Bali’s music scene.

Sourmilk played their first gig at the "Fraksi Epos" event in Kuta in March 2022. They released their debut single "Sick Girl" in September 2022, which garnered positive reviews and showcased the band's diverse influences. These include Sonic Youth, The Sundays, Pixies, Pavement, Weezer, Throwing Muses, The Breeders, Lush, and many others.

With each performance, Sourmilk continues to refine and evolve their sound, always pushing the boundaries of what's possible in alternative rock and indie pop.
