Fronted by the brother-sister duo of guitarist Cullen Parker and upright bassist Caroline Parker, Southern Angels delivers a unique and soulful blend of americana and Texas roots rock.
With their strong harmonies and upbeat, memorable songs, the band’s music bears a strong resemblance to Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, and Jackson Browne.
The band began their journey in 2020 when the sibling duo teamed up with San-Marcos based drummer and sound engineer Evan Granberry, whose tight and innovative sound engineering skills crowned the band’s polished live sound.
Soon after, they joined longtime Austin guitarist and pedal-steel player Martin Aker and keyboardist Henry Rodgers. Together, their clean cut country sounds and warm solos round out what has become the signature Southern Angels sound.
