Hailing from San Diego, California and North Carolina, Southern Call is an Americana and country duo that brings together the sounds of the desert and red dirt vibes. Their musical journey began when they both moved to Nashville in 2015 to pursue their dreams and they formed their duo in 2017. Since then, Southern Call has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of rootsy instrumentation, soaring harmonies and heartfelt songwriting.
Cierra Louise Trainor and Sean Trainor, the two halves of Southern Call, have been making music together for years. They share a deep love of traditional country, rock and folk music and they have honed their craft through countless gigs, performances and collaborations.
One of the keys to Southern Call's success has been their commitment to their music. They've built a whole studio at their house, allowing them to record their music on their own terms. This has given them the freedom to experiment with different sounds and styles and it's helped them develop a unique voice in the world of Americana and country music.
Now, Southern Call is gearing up to release their debut album, Pioneertown, in the fall of 2023. The album promises to be a stunning showcase of the duo's talents, with a mix of meaningful ballads, upbeat anthems and everything in between. With their signature desert and red dirt vibe, Southern Call’s goal is to leave a lasting impression on listeners.
