Raised in the suburbs of Dallas, TX, TJ Broscoff was afforded the
opportunity to surround himself with legions of music and friends, but
along the way some of those influences turned dark. Soon, he found
himself years deep in a situation that no one ever sees coming: addiction.
Thankfully, an Arizona desert brought TJ to the realization that enough was enough,
and he has never looked back. The Southern Satellite’s 2020 album 12 Years in the Valley
is a double-vinyl journal of TJ’s past, present, and future.
TJ is no stranger to the stage or musical accolades. Terrestrial radio has saturated the market with more than 375,000
spins, powered by 12 Top 40 singles, including three #1’s. Besides finding him on the
radio dial, fans enjoy digitally engaged with TJ as well, as shown by the 6,500 who
follow on Facebook, 1,500 on Instagram, and 3 Million Spotify streams under TJ Broscoff.
The band averages more than 50,000 miles a year on the road, the
equivalent to 12 times around the globe. All those miles and 150+ shows
a year, multiplied across TJ’s years as a professional musician has granted
Southern Satellite the opportunity to work with some of the best along the
way. Contributors to TJ’s success include Grammy award winning producer/engineer
Chris Bell (Don Henley, Dave Matthews, Kenny Wayne Sheppard), Norah Jones’
husband Pete Remm, and well-known LA musician/producer Wes Hutchinson
