LA-Based Psych Rock Meets Lo-fi Hip Hop

Originally a SLO-based bedroom project founded in 2018, SpaceyY currently roams the Los Angeles underground scene, pleasantly experimenting with their spin of Psychedelic Lo-fi (Psy-Fi).

Sharing stages with the likes of Juicebox, Shamon Cassette, Cherry Cheeks, and Soundfrom, SpaceyY conjures up a hybrid live set featuring fuzzy phased out guitar tones and an SP404 for mixing samples and live beats. From playing DIY shows across the West Coast to organizing underground sets in Stockholm, Sweden, SpaceyY is driven to share energy on and offstage.

With 4 self-released EPs that follow their esoteric journey, SpaceyY doesn’t shy away from blending boundaries between genres. Constantly exploring new soundscapes, SpaceyY’s 5th project “Spacious” is set to release in Summer 2025.
