Spänk!

Spänk! is all about contrasts. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but the lyrics of songs are often very serious, with topics such as love, death, personal issues, and addictions. Our look and style is humorous, glaring, and colorful, resembling almost a party band, yet our music is energic rock and even heavy at times. We have lots of punk attitude, but we still put a lot of effort in playing as well as possible. We also love working in studio and experimenting with different sounds and approaches, yet we are first and foremost a live band, with unbeatable live energy! We draw inspiration from wide range of musical styles from jazz to metal, but our primary aim is to come up with our own sound and style. This is what Spänk! is all about: having a good time while processing difficult aspects of life with danceable and ass kicking rock music, which is best experienced in a live show!
