Sparlha Swa is a psychotherapist, singer-songwriter and mother based in Oakland, CA. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she scored the award-winning film Pariah, played a lead role in the lauded music Fela!, has released four albums, and toured solo around the world. A psychotherapist in private practice, Sparlha also sings in the social-justice choir Thrive. She is grateful for the life lines to spirit she finds in meditation and nature, and for the love of her two children.
