Founded in a parking lot before a Darkest Hour concert in 2018, the five members of Speaking Stone share a common longing for the intensity of early 2000s metalcore without drowning in nostalgia.
Influenced by bands like As I Lay Dying, Darkest Hour, and Haste the Day, the Karlsruhe-based band presents a blend of heavy riffs, aggressive vocals, and catchy choruses, interspersed with quiet, atmospheric moments.
Following two self-released singles, the debut studio EP "All The Wrong Ones" was released in 2020. This record showcases Speaking Stone's versatility, with tracks like "Move to the South" addressing dramatic life changes, while "Vertigo" conveys courage for transformation with fast verses and powerful breakdowns.
