Spectrum Sync is an electronic duo formed by Sophia (producer/DJ, 27) and Lena (vocalist/lyricist, 25), both from Berlin, Germany. Their music blends EDM with elements of synthwave and futuristic pop, creating vibrant, danceable soundscapes with ethereal vocals that transport listeners to alternative sonic dimensions.
The two met in 2019 during an electronic music festival in Berlin, where Sophia was performing as a resident DJ and Lena was participating in an improvised jam session. Sophia, who studied audio engineering and electronic production at the Berlin University of the Arts, was impressed by Lena’s vocal quality and stage presence—Lena had trained as a jazz vocalist before venturing into electronic music.
After several experimental studio sessions, they realized they shared a musical vision that fused the nostalgia of 1980s synthesizers with contemporary electronic production and lyrics exploring the human condition in the digital age. Their debut single, “Spectrum,” went viral in the European club scene in 2020, leading to a deal with a label specializing in electronic music.
They are known for their visually stunning live performances, incorporating projection mapping, synchronized lighting, and occasionally dancers in futuristic costumes. Their lyrics explore themes of human connection in the digital era, transcendence through music, and the search for authenticity in an increasingly virtual world.
