Tokyo-based indie pop band SPIRO is made up of singer, guitarist, & keyboardist, Yuki Nakajima and drummer, Yuka Takei.
SPIRO’s first album was 2004’s, “om”, released on Waikiki Record. They followed this in 2007, with “Life Goes on Blah”, before Yuki took on SPIRO as a solo project.
While travelling in Seattle WA, Yuki was invited to record by producer Phillip Peterson. With Yuka joining him for the first time, they put together 2017’s “SEEATROLL” (released via House of Breaking Glass), and this solidified SPIRO’s current lineup.
With new songs already forming part of their regular live shows, SPIRO are currently working on their next record, which is set to be released in the near future.
