An Arizona native Chicano, Spit Hell Manuel (SHM) was raised in the melting pot of a city that was Avondale, AZ, where he learned of Hip Hop, Rap, Jazz, Country, Pop, and even Mexican genres such as Ranchero, Cumbia, and Corrido. Spit Hell Manuel is an accomplished Jazz Saxophonist and music engineer and producer with accolades amongst a multitude of southwestern artists across the U.S.
SHM has collaborated extensively with talents such as Willy Northpole, Emilio Rojas, ta-ku, as well as performed alongside mainstream entertainers such as DMX, Rick Ross, and Freddie Gibbs, to name a few. SHM has toured the Southwestern and Midwestern regions in the U.S. and can be found on many nationally syndicated shows such as The Purge and Animal Kingdom by ABC.
Spit Hell Manuel has been associated with record labels Respect the Underground and Desert Life Entertainment throughout his career. Now Independent, SHM looks to the future with the fury of an emcee’s scorn.
