S.P.L

S.P.L is a Singer/Songwriter
from Boorloo Perth, Western Australia. 
Starting in humble beginnings she found herself drawn to joining her school choir, Barbershop quartet and many talent shows it lead to a new awakening as a teenager fronting an Alternative Grunge band “Winter’s Calling” which she then moved onto being co founder of an acoustic trio named “Summer Avenue” which ultimately lead her to her current solo pursuit as S.P.L. 
She varies from genres such as R&B, Soul, Pop, Dance and anything in between. 
S.P.L ultimately writes from her experiences and her heart.
With a deep connection behind every lyric and harmony.
She likes experimenting with an open mind and empowering justice seeking statements.
S.P.L is influenced by a variety of artists whether it be for their impeccable songwriting or immaculate vocals such as Ashanti, Kehlani, Jojo, Diana Gordon, The Smiths, City and Colour, The cure, The Goo Goo Dolls, Switchfoot, Michelle Branch, Mariah Carey, Cher, Janet Jackson, Def Leppard, Tink, Timbaland, Destiny’s child , The Corrs, Neyo , FKA Twigs, Banks , Dagny, Tove Lo and so many more.
She is a complex queer artist and she is ready for the world to listen.
