Spleen formed in Florence in 2024. After settling on their final lineup, they signed with Contempo Records and released their debut EP, Dystopic School. The record received excellent feedback in the UK, leading the band to perform in England.
Over the course of the year, Spleen made a name for themselves in the Florence underground scene, released a second EP titled Making Plans for Nigel, and played on increasingly prominent stages (Glue, Cage, CPA). In December of last year, they embarked on a mini tour in England, selling out their first show at London’s Hope and Anchor. Since the beginning of the year, they’ve performed several times in Milan, Florence, and Rome.
