Day + Jack + Poe = Springwoods. Springwoods is a psych ward in Arkansas that two of us have been to. The world is a weird place and sometimes you have to step back, take a breather, and make the decision to live for yourself. Somewhere between oversharing, overthinking and staying up way too late talking about everything, we realized we all have things we have to say & it’s time to put ourselves out there. Words themselves only go so far; music communicates in a way they can’t. Beyond that, we also strive to do the walk, not just talk the talk. Springwoods also means waking up everyday wanting to be better people, individually and to others. Springwoods is part therapy, part creative exorcism, part “screw it let’s just do it”, but mostly living the lives we want to live. We don’t have it all figured out, but we’re here!! And making things!
