Spud

Small town Pennsylvania (Lehman Towhnship to be exact) is where Spud is based out of. Placing the band into a genre is no easy task. With roots mainly in rock, folk, and psychedelia, their material is a tasteful hybrid of all of their influences. Some songs are more folksy, singer-songwriter, while others take the listener to an alternative plane of existence. Their debut album <a href="spotify:album:6kOa7ztF7RVhIOWGi55Y0w" data-name="Lonesome Nights and Satellites">Lonesome Nights and Satellites</a> is a perfect demonstration of this. In terms of songwriting, all four members, Sam Ciravolo (lead guitar/keyboards), Matt Coolbaugh (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Steve Cornia (Bass) and Mike Allen (Drums), participate and do not tie themselves down to any specific genre.

The band formed starting with Matt and Steve in 2017 and about a year later Sam joined, bringing a whole new energy to the group. Mike came on board during quarantine in the spring of 2020 and they have since written another album&#39;s (and then some) worth of material that they are eager to take into the studio with their Engineer and Co-Producer Paul Sinclair.
