Squiid is the brainchild of musician Niclas Gustavsson, who was born in 1985 and grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he now lives with his wife and two kids. His relationship to music started when he was very young, watching Disney movies and admiring the harmonies, chords and melodies. At the age of 15, Niclas started playing around in a producer software as electronic music caught his attention. Years of practice went by and his creative mind started to flourish. Today he works as a full-time carpenter by day and takes every opportunity he can to create musical magic when the kids are sleeping. The inspiration for his music is picked up in the everyday family life and by putting himself in new environments.
