Sri Vijay Ragavan is a composer,arranger,singer,lyricist based in Srilanka. He is the son of popular carnatic singer and teacher Kalaichodamani Shanmugaragavan Shanmugaratnam(Srilanka).His father and grandfather "Isaipulavar" Shanmugaratnam inspired him to learn music.His first vocal guru was his father and he has been active professionally in music over the past 20 years.
Since 2004 he had started composing independent songs and he made his debut as a music director for the Tamil feature film titled "Tha"(2010) and his second film was titled "Enga kaattila mazhai"(2016) and third film is "Ashvamithra" (2019).
He has sung for several Srilankan and Indian music directors for devotional and independent songs.He has also worked with several popular Indian playback singers like Karthick,Haricharan,Nithyashree Mahadevan,Bombay Jayashri,Anuradha Sriram,Harish Raghavendra,Shweta Mohan,Ranjith,Gana Bala,Sathyaprakash,Dhilip Varman,Anand Aravindaksha, Nikhil Mathew,Pooja Vydanath,Vandhana Srinivasan,Pragathi Guruprasad, Sukanya Varadarajan,Rakshitha Suresh, Santosh,Rajaganapathy,& Haripriya.He had made an independent music album with Airtel Super Singers that received rave reviews.
