Transcending both space and time through their hypnotic yet invigorating strain of EDM, production duo Star Ocean's existence was ignited upon the discovery of dance music.
Their hard-hitting strain of bass music is a cosmic collision of melody and subsonic weight, pulling on heartstrings while setting dancefloors ablaze. This is evident in their debut official release, 'Let Go', which was released on the China-based imprint 'Sad Records' in 2020.
Star Ocean consists of USA-based Nick and China-based Liu. While the pair have never actually met in the flesh, they utilize the internet and cloud technologies to create magic together. The name, “Star Ocean” highlights the pair's inquisitive nature of the vast unknown, pertaining to both the deep blue seas and galaxies beyond reach. It’s also an apt way of symbolizing the physical distance between the pair.
With a host of remixes that are available to stream via their Soundcloud, expect to hear an abundance of cosmic and colorful music from Star Ocean in 2022 and beyond.
