StarBath

StarBath is an alternative rock band from New Bedford, Massachusetts. The current line-up is comprised of Autumn Cyr (vocalist/lyricist/keyboards/rhythm guitar/certified gremlin), Gabriel Sylvia (lead guitar/sick soloist with hella style), Dan Medeiros (rhythm guitar/Planeswalker) Adam Rodriguez (bassist/big jacket wearer), and Dalton Pereira (drummer/all around cool guy/definitely NOT the writer of this bio). The band was formed in the summer of 2021 in an unusual place, a barn turned practice space on guitarist Gabriel Sylvia's family farm. What started as a psychedelic rock duo between Gabriel and Dalton, inspired by Pink Floyd, Om, and Elder, quickly turned into a trio, adding bassist Kerrick Mcneil to the roster. When all three decided that they did not want to sing, Autumn Cyr was added, completing the first initial line up. After a year of gigging New England and recording a never-released demo album they then recorded and released their first real, but mostly instrumental EP (Call to the Sun) in New York. Following this, unfortunate circumstances would lead Kerrick Mcneil to quit the band in May of 2022. Shortly after his departure, Adam Rodriguez (longtime friend/photographer/and roadie for the band) was added. Currently influenced by the likes of Cocteau Twins, Nirvana and Radiohead.
