Ciro Alessio Strazzeri, aka "Starchild," from Catania, likes to describe himself as "a manager by day and a passionate rock singer-songwriter by night."
Already known for founding the popular Kiss cover band "Alternative Kiss," in 2023 he launched his own solo project, aptly named "Starchild," accompanied by the talented musicians of the "Starchild Band."
He writes in English and Italian.
The project began in 2023 with the song "Rock Will Never Die," which was a finalist in the "Risuoni Inediti" section in 2024.
He achieved international success with "Blood-Soaked Earth," which reached the final of Sanremo Rock 2025 on September 13, 2025, on the prestigious stage of the Ariston Theater in Sanremo, selected from among eight thousand applicants. Furthermore, the music video for the same song was a finalist at Rai Cinema for the prestigious Tulipani di Seta Nera festival and a winner at the Roshani Film Festival in India.
He has already released four other singles: "Silk and Ash," "Romanza Rock," "Il filo rosso del destino," and the 2025 Christmas song "The Santa Claus Rock."
His first album, "Big Bang," featuring additional new songs, is scheduled for release in January 2026.
He will be part of "Rockin 1000," the prestigious international band made up of 1,000 people.
