Curt Brown, also known as Starmore, grew up in Northern Michigan before moving to West Michigan as a young adult. Music has always been his inspiration since his earliest memories. He is a multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter.
Some of Curt's earlier musical influences include The Smashing Pumpkins, The Verve, The Deftones, and Sleep Party People; more recently, DMA'S and Ben Howard.
Before his solo career started in 2020, Curt was the lead vocalist for the hard rock bands Darkest Summit and Tears Run Empty. Playing shows with bands like Trapt, Otep, Wayland, and others led to new opportunities and inspirations.
Starmore can be described as a light sleeper and heavy dreamer. Music permeates his brain waves, and he thrives in finding new ways to share music with the world.
