Starr Jamezz was born in Decatur, Ga., a small city less than 20 miles from the capitol, Atlanta. After releasing her first underground album, "Da Kandi Ladi," she won "UnderGrammy Rap Artist" of the year in 2005. In 2008, she expanded Broadz Way with additional investors who also help with general operations, event planning, and promotions. In the same year, Starr with the help of Broadz Way Entertainment released a promotional cd, "151" with 3 bonus tracks. That release lead to working with DJ Kidd Star of Live Wire Empire on a project, defined as 'e-hop', was released summer of 2015. The much anticipated, "Big Ol Trick," definitely served as a catalyst into her last single release, "Luv U 2." She has been professionally performing in clubs for more than ten years and plans on globally touring, writing children books, voice-overs, and writing screenplays as well as producing large and small film productions via SAB Lab Creative Productions. Her current release, "Got Me Drippin'!" is a collaboration with friend C.A.S.H. and 1st cousin the late Darnecia Robinson aka Shellie Red. "I'm keeping our dreams moving forward by releasing this single and making it literally bigger than life," spoke Starr. 2021 is the beginning of a new presidential team, hence "Tweet That," the latest single mocking those who have taken Twitter and other social media platforms too far.
