States N Tones is a cross-cultural project weaving West African desert blues, Latin American guitar traditions, Rock N Roll and Spirit Music into a sound that feels like wandering roads, campfire nights, and the ancient memory of belonging. Their music carries a pulse elevates your states of being and harmonizes your feeling tones using the grit of blues, and the open-sky storytelling of Americana exploring themes of home, purpose, and the return to community.
The group is led by Azzurro and Aimin, two artists who met along a path of travel, ceremony, and music-making rooted in land and culture. Azzurro’s lyrics speak to personal myth, healing, and the journey of remembering who we are. Aimin’s guitar work blends Guatemalan folk, Afro-Latin rhythms, rock and blues phrasing that feels both ancient and alive.
States N Tones is currently releasing and touring their debut collection: a body of work that invites listeners into deeper feeling, shared humanity, and a vision of a world rooted in peace, reciprocity, and earth-based living. Their performances are intimate and communal, often dissolving the line between audience and stage.
This is music for gathering.
