Stația Nouă, (the new station or 9th station, homonyms) is a post punk/indie-folk project developed by Teofan Gavriliu, which is strongly inspired by the movie Stalker by Andrei Tarkovsky and invites its listeners to a journey towards the inner self, the deepest feelings and longings, which can paradoxically occur in simple environments and actions. The name itself is a play on words that signifies either the journey towards a new place, undiscovered, a mysterious station which waits to be discovered, while also being a journey towards something known, something precise, the 9th station. Stația Nouă is a journey towards finding and understanding one's feelings and inner being in simple things and contexts. It is a project that welcomes to meditation and tuning into our most powerful feelings without being afraid.
