Static Diversion's first album is a byproduct of the 2020 big social experiment. Four friends playing in a cover band suddenly had no shows, and decided musical expression would be better spent writing original music. So the journey began and little did the band know that it would lead them on a Path to Somewhere. Lee enlisted his long time songwriting partner, Steve, to create the foundation of four songs on this EP. The fifth song (Path), was a lick that Dan wrote many years ago waiting for this band and moment in time. Music moved from concept to completed songs through the creative input of Static D, which includes Lee Abston, Armando Alvarez, Steve Curtin, Dominick Finelle, and Dan Williford. The awesome artwork is attributed entirely to the creative mind of Dominick Finelle.
Songs were recorded in North Carolina, Florida, New Hampshire, Louisiana, and Texas using GarageBand® and BandLab®, and mixed / mastered by PG Audio out of Brazil.
