Based out of beautiful, sunshiny Detroit, Michigan, Stay At Home Dads is here to remind you that things do in fact suck, but at least we can all be pissed off together. Blending elements of pop punk, emo and easycore into fast-paced, lyric heavy melodies, the Dads tackle the challenges of life, loss and the lessons they’ve learned through their mid-20s.
These four have managed to take the feeling of late nights with your friends and distill it into catchy, anthemic earworms. Even as they discuss breakups, the death of friends and the things that are often left unsaid, they maintain an air of joy and optmisim that better days are ahead.
The Stay At Home Dads have performed with rising artists including Hodera, Teenage Halloween, Latewaves, Leisure Hour, and Family Dinner and take influence from bands like The Story So Far, A Day to Remember, Blink-182, Four Year Strong, Spanish Love Songs and so many others.
None of them have kids, but they’re happy to have a catch or call you a disappointment. Give them a listen, we promise not to tell your mother.
