What started in 1989 as Ankry Simons, an honest Angry Samoans cover/tribute band, eventually turned to theft, psychological warfare and old fashioned revenge to grind it's way to what it is right now. Steakknife, a poison viper-pit of ancient rage, with an informed, persistent disgust with … everything?
Almost.
Our “modern world” is disgusting and in the most shameful way.
Ignorant, hateful, shit-brained, boring bullies have taken control of “the narrative” and we allowed it to happen (Who is “we”, you ask? I'll say it like this: Nobody in Steakknife voted for that fucking moron.).
Steakknife is against boring bullies.
Steakknife believes that boring bullies should be bombed.
Steakknife might laugh at you, but we'll never lie to you.
Steakknife is drums, bass, two guitars and something … singer-adjacent.
Our disgust keeps us here and our humor keeps us sane. It's a tricky combination, but a good one if you can make it work.
Steakknife makes it work.
We also have smartest drummer on the planet, a left-handed bass player, a right-handed guitar player and Demon once left the band. He returned a few years later after collecting enough souls and it worked.
We're pretty serious about what we do, when we finally decide to do it.
We call it punk rock.
See you soon.
