STEEL immersed himself in electronic dance music in 2010 at the age of 16, quickly establishing himself as a DJ in clubs and discotheques around his hometown of Herne, Germany. Early support from the internationally acclaimed dance act Italobrothers inspired him to release a track on their label. Over the years, he performed as a warm-up DJ for renowned artists such as the world-famous MOGUAI and the German dance act VIZE.
In 2024, when Taylor Swift performed three shows in Gelsenkirchen, STEEL energized the fans in Taylortown before her show, even earning a feature on the Tagesschau. His songs and remixes have garnered attention from major radio stations like 1LIVE and TV channels like RTLZWEI.
After multiple successful releases on the prestigious German dance label Kontor Records, he reached another milestone in 2025 with the release of Waterfalls, a collaboration with Australian rising star GRATIFY and singer Amanda Wilson (Seek Bromance by Avicii) on the major label Virgin Records (Universal).
