Steelo Grimes has always perceived himself as a nomad, as he has never felt a true sense of belonging anywhere. Born in Columbia, South Carolina on January 19th, 1996, his life took a southern shift as he was raised in various cities across Florida. From Miami to Port St. Lucie, then up to Palm Bay and back down through multiple areas of Broward, his surroundings constantly changed. At the young age of 9, Grimes embarked on a musical journey, capturing his thoughts and experiences in a notebook. He aimed to present a balance between light and dark, good and evil, exposing the inner conflicts of even the most introspective individuals. With a versatile approach and a heightened sense of awareness, Grimes employs his lyrics and flow to deconstruct and explore every soundwave he encounters. He delves into the depths of the human soul, reminding us to be mindful of the unknown.
