Born in Rome in 1978, “Stefanino” is a name I’ve carried since childhood — a reminder of never being very tall, and maybe never very conventional.
I don’t see myself as a musician in the traditional sense. My songs come from a dialogue with artificial intelligence, exploring hidden emotional and sonic spaces. I don’t write for everyone, but for that rare vibration that suddenly arrives after countless attempts and intuitions.
I admire those who create music with craft and discipline. I know I’m not like them — but I believe there’s beauty in this fragile, curious, and open way of making art.
My influences range from Eddie Vedder’s depth to Springsteen’s raw energy, from Brunori Sas’s clarity to the folk dreams of I Ratti della Sabina and the luminous shadows of early Litfiba.
My music is meant to leave traces: for those I love, for those I’ve met along the way, for those who feel that every departure — even within — is already a form of return.
