Stellar Abbess

Stellar Abbess is a new solo project from San Francisco-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performer Erin Rauch-Sasseen. She has spent the past decade performing as one of the founding members of the Brooklyn-based indie pop group <a href="spotify:artist:2GcsUoY6MOCEBNDAlmKt7k" data-name="Hey Anna">Hey Anna</a> (with her sisters Anna and Katie Rauch-Sasseen, and drummer Matt Langner). She has also appeared on various tracks with other bands, including <a href="spotify:track:1PzVYvsH0eBP5T1TpGCBwB" data-name="Pull Yourself Together - Alt. Version">Pull Yourself Together - Alt. Version</a> by indie legends, <a href="spotify:artist:7DEseTqRODmSu3C7jxCHl5" data-name="The Boxer Rebellion">The Boxer Rebellion</a>, whom she also toured with as Hey Anna.


Stellar Abbess wrote, recorded, and produced her first single &#34;Three Days in Nice&#34;. Her unique voice has been described as &#34;a sultry-but-hauntingly-sweet combination of <a href="spotify:artist:56ZTgzPBDge0OvCGgMO3OY" data-name="Beach House">Beach House</a> with a little bit of the ethereal-ness of <a href="spotify:artist:6l77PmL5iuEEcYjGl8K6s7" data-name="Bat For Lashes">Bat For Lashes</a>.&#34;


Stellar Abbess is currently working on an EP, which she is recording herself at her home studio in San Francisco. She will be releasing more songs from this record over the next few months.
