Stephan Beats is a Brazilian lofi hip hop producer whose musical journey began at age 7 playing keyboard. Inspired by Sonic Adventure's soundtrack, he dreamed of working in game audio and learned guitar, receiving his first acoustic guitar at 11 and electric guitar at 12.
In 2014, he became the first student at Game Audio Academy, learning to create soundtracks and sound effects for games. That year, he also joined an anime song band, performing at Anime Summer, Anime Friends, Campinas Anime Festival, and Jundiai Anime Festival, opening for Asian Kung-Fu Generation, BACK-ON, Flow, and sharing the stage with Snowkel.
Since 2016, he's worked professionally in game audio. In 2018, he collaborated with Rafael Langoni and Thiago Adamo on projects for Globo.
In 2019, discovering Lofi Girl's channel, he was inspired by how lofi hip hop helped people concentrate, relax, and sleep. He began releasing lofi tracks with labels including Lofi Brasil, Beatmology, and Elevarte Music, plus independent releases and collaborations with Collectively Alone, Moonsailor, flashygoodness, Game Audio Sounds and Thiago Adamo.
