I experienced some things - some good, others not so good. A cancer diagnosis forced me to take a hard look at all of it, understand it, accept it and, ultimately, make my way through it. I wrote a few songs to help process and honour both the good and the bad. Things I Couldn’t Explain To You Otherwise is an album 20 plus years in the making that acknowledges where I’ve come from and where I am now with my incredible wife and two children. I hope it is a balanced offering of dark and light to the universe; a gift to friends, family, mentors, and medical practitioners, alive and passed, who gave me the guidance, strength and care that got me to where I am today.
