Stephanie Domet

Stephanie Domet is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actress and model. Stephanie's cultural backround is Irish, Ukrainian, Lebanese and Welsh by descent. She grew up in a heavily influenced music household. Sounds of her father's guitar and his records would fill the house daily. Stephanie and her siblings also grew up loving Disney movies and would constantly sing and act out scenes. Her musical inspiration was mainly drawn from radio stations such as 99.1 JAZZ FM and Flow 93.5. She fell in love with artists such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Adele, Amy Winehouse and Etta James. She would sing these artists songs at home and at karaoke. She also found inspiration from films like 'Roger Rabbit' and 'The Mask' that highlighted sultry singers, Jessica Rabbit and Cameron Diaz. Another source of inspiration was drawn from Michelle Pfeifer's performance in Batman Returns. Michelle Pfeifer's strong, yet sensual performance spoke to Stephanie as she felt this was a woman she wanted to emulate. Her first single 'Catwoman' is a beautiful fusion of sultry and strong much like the woman she is.

Stephanie has a non-verbal autistic brother named Luke, who inspired her to be an advocate for Autism. She also has has many years of experience working with children and adults who have special needs. She hopes to shine a light on those who are non-verbal autistic as it is very strenuous for those individuals and their families trying to live and cope.
