Stephen Chopek’s new EP 'Space Magnets' (released in September 2025 on Brooklyn label Declared Goods) is four tracks of forward motion: urgent, playful, and alive with possibility. Chopek coined the term GRANULIST MUSIC to describe this work—songs that explore the architecture of sound through layered pulses, recurring motifs, and evolving harmonies (with all instruments and vocals performed by Chopek). From the eternal renewal of “Now For Always” to the time-bending “We Go From Here,” SPACE MAGNETS is music for moving forward—fast, joyfully, and together.
