Based in the Atlanta city of Marietta, Georgia, Steve Era began writing music in 2016. It wasn’t until 2018 when he wrote his first official Single “FIRST PLACE” along with New York Producer, Doc Sanderz, the same day that they met. The track was later released in 2021.
Nickednamed Eriko by his mother as a slight reference to the name Steve-O, Era comes from San Antonio, Texas. Steve spent the rest of his life in Georgia. The name “Era” was made up in 2016 when a couple of friends invited him to a nearby home studio and the name Steve Era stuck ever since.
Born Steve Martinez, the bilingual Songwriter left high school and turned his life to barbering in the streets of Cobb County, Georgia.
He kicked off his career with a few high-profile collaborations such as his release In July 2019, “Sideways (ft. Juan Gotti)” and “Touchdown (ft. Big Runts)” released in September 2019, which caught more of an audience for the artist.
