Steve McElroy is a North Wales, UK based singer, musician, songwriter, digital-artist, DJ and producer. He has been one of the main creative driving-forces with various artists and bands (inc. X-ell, TransAmp, Frail & currently MavMac) since the mid 90s and even secured a 3-year publishing deal with global giant Universal Music at the age of 18.
He is a multi-instrumentalist, having started playing at the age of 13 and primarily writing on the piano and guitar. Aside from his outstanding musicianship and energetic performance ability, production is where he shines, relentlessly obsessing over every sound in order to create that perfect, polished sheen. His extremely eclectic influences range from rock and metal AC/DC-style riffs, commercial electronic beats, indie-anthemic melodies to even soundtrack and classical string ingredients in order to flavour the music he writes.
