Singer/ Songwriter, Worship Leader, Musician, Palliative Care Physician, Husband and Father. Originally from the UK now living near Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Strange gift mix I guess, but I think all of us have many facets to who we are; not always do we allow ourselves to explore them or give full freedom to our creativity. I have been very fortunate to have many gifted friends who have worked with me on previous projects over the years, writing, playing and producing and just doing life together. This most recent project the Better Man EP was mostly all me! That for sure has a good side and a humbling side. Digital Introspection if it hasn’t been coined yet as a term is an absolute psychological reality!
Thank you to Josh Mitchinson (aka Grey Gray, These Kids Wear Crowns ) for your ears, the cover art and the DAW coaching. I will forever hear the phrase “drums could be louder.” Thank you to John Jenkinson for helping me finish, especially for the fades!! Thank you to my friend and co-writer Brian Doerksen for “Surrendered to Your will.” So good to hear our voices, music and lyrics resonate over the years. Thank you Karen for always believing in me and making me a better man each day.
So, the Better Man EP consists of songs from the last few years. They represent milestones on my journey. I guess this is something I produced, played and sang on rather than me embracing the producer title as I know that I have just started the process. Thanks for listening hope you enjoy.
