Steve Rucker

Steve began his recording career as a studio pianist and keyboardist in L.A. which led to playing on platinum albums for Whitney Houston and Tiffany. He then moved to composition and spent many years as a TV, film, and film trailer composer (Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland, Josephine, Dexter’s Laboratory, Survivor etc., and film trailers for Pirates Of The Caribbean, Avengers, and Mission Impossible etc. Steve has returned to his lifelong love affair with the piano with his new instrumental album, “Rubicon”. The nine songs offer a vibey melodic and rhythmic journey inflected with ethnic and electronic colors blended with jazz improvisation. Enjoy!
