I really wanted 'Sunday Stars' to be a bigger and bolder version of the sound I started on my first record 'Dairy Made.' Leaning a little less lofi and a bit more into a place that fits in with bands like Fruit Bats, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Kurt Vile etc. These songs are mostly super personal and about life as a mostly ex-rocker, new folker, new dad living in Nashville but still acting like I'm in Los Angeles. I'll get one of these cacti to stay alive eventually...
